June 21-23, 2018 - Downtown Canton, Ohio
Congratulations to our 2017 Bocce Tournament Winners:
EXCITING BOCCE TOURNAMENT NEWS!
The City of Canton has agreed to allow the Italian-American Festival to build two permanent Bocce Ball courts in the green space in Downtown Canton between 3rd and 4th Street NW! We are also very excited to announce that the Capuano and Desarro families, together with The Unique Club of Stark County, have agreed to organize and run the Papa Bears/Pizza Oven Bocce tournament with special thanks to Anthony DeSarro Construction for providing the time, labor, dedication, and expertise of constructing the bocce courts and a huge thank you to Dave and Steve DiPietro of Papa Bears/Pizza Oven for their generous sponsorship of the tournament!
REAL BOCCE ON REAL COURTS IS BACK!
The Bocce tournament has always been a festival favorite and we are thrilled to have the Capuano and DeSarro families back after a two year absence to reenergize this special event on newly constructed courts, which as anyone who has participated in this event in the past knows, you can expect a well-run tournament, but most of all a ton of fun!
HURRY! FIRST COME FIRST SERVED!
With just two courts and tight timeframes, we are limited to accommodating just 35 teams this year so we can only accept registration on a first come first served basis. You are strongly encouraged to register your team as early as possible and, to ensure your spot, there will be a $5 per player or, $20 per team registration fee/donation payable to The Unique Club of Stark County.
