Matt Schafer began playing the accordion at age seven and at thirteen began playing professionally with his father's band in the greater Akron area. At age twenty-six, Matt joined America's Polka King, Frank Yankovic, traveling throughout the United States and Canada. In 1977, he formed his own band, and has been performing in the greater Akron-Canton area. Matt has served as president of the A.B.C. Polka Association and hosts a Saturday morning radio program on WZIP FM Akron, Ohio..

Mirella’s devotion to Italian music has been with her since she started playing the piano and accordion at the age of 8. In addition to the piano and accordion, she also plays the organ and drums. To celebrate her Italian heritage, Mirella, at age 15, began playing her accordion in Pittsburgh’s Strip District for an Italian produce store where she has continued to play and attract customers for the past 18 years! For over 30 years, Mirella has traveled throughout the Pittsburgh and Tri‐State Area delighting audiences with her extensive repertoire of traditional Italian and American melodies.
Moreno Fruzzetti, a native of Pisa, located in the Tuscany region of Italy, has been capturing the ears and hearts of fans worldwide for over 30 years and continues with no end in sight. It seems this vocalist has found his recipe for success: the mix of his powerful tenor sound, captivating onstage presence, and a variety of Operatic arias, Pop music, to the American classics!
Playing in concerts and festivals across the globe, he has been able to share with us his passion for all genres of music. Song selections that range from the 1940’s to present and of course his love for the Golden Era of Italian music along with classical music from centuries ago.

Gli Italiani is a group of young energetic Italian boys doing what they do best, playing music together. They play a wide variety of music including old Italian folk songs, newer Italian hits, popular American music and more. They will surely have a crowd dancing and having fun all night long. The band members are a close group of long-time friends including Andrew on accordion, keyboards, and lead vocals, Anthony on bass and vocals, Matt on guitar and vocals, and David on drums and vocals.

Allegro Dance Company -- Saturday 6:15 - 7:15
LaFlavour has been pleasing area audiences for years. From 1973 to 1988, they toured the major cities across the country, having made many appearances at Harrah’s in Atlantic City. Currently the band has cut down on their travel by playing high profile engagements around the Akron - Cleveland area. The band is widely known by its trademark original song Mandolay which was a huge national and international hit, reaching number 7 on the Billboard Chart.
