We have received many positive comments concerning the safe, clean and exciting rides that BATES BROTHERS AMUSEMENTS has provided for our Festival for the past few summers. Those comments made us aware that BATES BROTHERS and their family of friendly and courteous workers had to be invited to return to our 2008 Festival. Eric Bates & Company promises even more excitement for our Festival patrons this year. Festival-goers of all ages will enjoy the rides, games and carnival foods of BATES BROTHERS. All Amusement rides will require a Bates Ride Ticket Pass that may be purchased on festival grounds. Hold on to your hats and enjoy the exciting amusement rides at the Canton Italian Festival.

Casino

Our Italian Festival Casino promises an exciting mix of fun and sparkle this year. Casino Chairmen, Gary Petersen, John Talbott and Shaun Smith invite you to stop by for games of Black Jack, Let It Ride, Poker Tables, a Texas Hold'em Tournament and many other games of chance. Our Casino is located on Via Napoli at the North end of our Festival Grounds.

Casino Hours:   * Fri 5:30-11:30 PM   * Sat 4:00-11:30 PM   * Sun 2:00-8:00 PM

Nightly 50/50 Drawing

New this year, our Festival will be hosting a nightly 50/50 Drawing for our festival patrons. Fifty-Fifty tickets will be sold at several locations throughout the festival grounds. The price of each ticket will be a mere $1.00 or six (6) for $5.00. The cash prize will be determined each night before the winning ticket is drawn. The winning 50/50 patron need not be present to win their half. The lucky winner will be notified by phone.

New tickets and opportunities will be held on each of the three festival days. ALL proceeds from the 50/50 drawing will be earmarked for our 2009 FESTIVAL SCHOLARSHIPS. You can help our scholarship fund and go home a big 50/50 winner!.

Texas Hold'em Tournament

Our popular Texas Hold'em Tournament will return this year on Saturday and Sunday during the festival. The cost to play will be $50 per person. Payouts will be determined based on number of players. No re-buys. Tournament will be held from 12:30 to 4:30 PM on both Saturday and Sunday. Registration will begin at 12:15 PM each day. Cash only to register on the day of the tournament. No checks will be accepted.

Early registration for the Texas Hold'em Tournament is available this year. Print and mail in Early Registration Form to ensure your spot at a table. All pre-registration applications must be postmarked by 06/23/08 to be accepted.
