Our festival would be impossible without the many dedicated vounteers who so generously give of their time and talents to make it all happen. Some volunteers have been involved in the festival since its inception in 1987. Others have just become active in recent years as the festival continues to grow and offer more exciting entertainment and attractions to the many thousands who attend.

From the dedicated chairperson who are responsible for putting it all together, to the many workers who sign up to help out for a few hours at the festival, it just couldn't happen without each and every one of them. As a group, our volunteers spend countless hours preparing for, operating and tearing down the festival each year.

In honor of our many volunteers, each year we recognize a small group of individuals who exemplify the true spirit of our organization. The Festival Recognition Award and Volunteer Service Awards represent our sincere gratitude to all who make the festival a success. These awards are presented at the Mayor's Breakfast each year as we kick off the Festival Weekend.
